Model Four faced, multi purpose rule.
1. This rule is undated but it believed that the use of slides longer than the rule went out of use around 1750.
2. The rule has scales for calculation (squares, cubes and trigonometry) on the front of the slides and scales for alcohol on the reverse of the slides, which are not reversible.
3. In total the rule has 31 scales.
