1. This rule is one of the range in "Eye-saver yellow" promoted by Pickett as being less tiring to use.
2. The rule is one of a pair with a 10" rule (N500 ES). Whilst the aim would have been to use familiarity with one rule to facilitate use of the other, in fact there are quite a few differences in the scales.
3. The rule is of all metal construction.
