Unique was one of the largest makers of slide rules in the UK. They tended to produce similar rules for a long periods so it is sometimes difficult to date them. My guess would be that this is around 1950.

The rule has 7 scales; 2 log log, A and D on the stock; B, C and CI on the slide. None of the scales it titled.

The rule is celluloid on wood. The cursor is plastic with aluminium end plates.

The slide moves freely and there are no obvious marks or defects.

The case is tatty with a former owners name and addresses written inside.

No instructions are provided but inside the lid of the box there as a description of the "Care of 'Unique' Slide Rule".
